Security Latch™ For Single RIGHT HAND Panic Door with Push Bar Type Exit Device.

This clever door security device was designed to prevent panic doors from opening - without the need for locks or chains. But it is easily and quickly removed for immediate exit when needed. When installed, it protects people inside a room or building from break-ins or intrusions through panic doors. It’s perfect for schools, institutions, or commercial buildings. A simple and easy solution to a huge security problem.

Security Latches brace the door with a cross arm of 14 gauge steel and legs of 1/4” x 1” steel.

Security Latches are covered in a 1/4” thickness of heat-treated Plastisol. It won’t scratch or mar your doors.

This model of Security Latch has legs that slip in front of and behind the push bar exit device. The bar wedges firmly between the door and door jamb - preventing the door from opening.

Door Specifications:

• Clearance from door to underside of panic bar (in locked or released position): 3"
• Distance from door face to outward face of door jamb: 3"
