Master Lock 1585 is an ADA Inspired Combination Padlock for lockers and other uses. Control Keyed

Dial has letters instead of numbers -- so the combination is MUCH EASIER TO REMEMBER.

Anti-shim design resists attempts to break lock open (please see video.)

Control key allows supervisory access.

Control keys are sold separately. Please see our #10010.

If matching existing series, please specify control key number.

For security reasons, Master Lock cannot build these locks to a requested combination. It's like computer passwords, anyone determined to open the locker would try the obvious or user-specific letters that are most easily-remembered. For the institutional user, where a control key is needed for supervisory or maintenance access, please also consider the 1525EZRC.

For non-institutional users, where a control key is not needed and an easily-remembered combination is needed; the letter padlock (NOT keyed) is our #1572. For combination special requests, please consider a 1502 padlock, with a request for an easily-remembered combination.
